A two-year immersion in Germany
The combined French-German degree program is open to students at Sciences Po Rennes and the Katholische Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (KU) in Bavaria, Germany.
It leads to one of five degrees : the Bachelor of Political Science (KU), the Master of Political Science (KU), a national Master’s or equivalent degree, the Sciences Po Rennes degree and a degree from the Franco-German University (FGU).
Students enrolled in the program receive a monthly mobility allowance of €350 from the Franco-German University (FGU). Degrees are awarded under the aegis of the FGU.

- Political science courses in German / Kurse in Politikwissenschaft und Volkswirtschaftslehre
- Language courses: German, French, English, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Chinese and more
- Discipline-specific lectures and tutorials: Politics and society (Poso) or Economics and Finance (Ecofi) Kurse und Übungsseminare aus einem Wahlfachgebiet : “Politik und Gesellschaft” oder “Wirtschaft und Finanzen”
- French-German tutoring with an intercultural and comparative approach / interkulturelle und vergleichende Annäherung. French and German speakers are invited on a regular basis.
- Vorlesungen und Seminare in Politikwissenschaft / Political science courses and conferences
- Vorlesungen und Seminare im ersten und in einem weiteren Wahlfachgebiet (Geschichte, Soziologie, Literaturwissenschaft, Philosophie etc.) / Courses and conferences in the major selected in Rennes and in another subject, such as history, sociology, literature or philosophy
- Sprachkurse: Englisch oder Spanisch / Language courses: English or Spanish
- Übung zu Kultur und Landeskunde Frankreichs und Deutschlands / Specific, French-German degree seminars on culture and civilization
- Bachelor-Arbeit / Bachelor’s thesis
- Political science courses (political theory, comparative study of forms of government, international policy) / Kurse in Politikwissenschaft: Politische Theorie, Vergleichende Regierungslehre, Internationale Politik (inkl. Aussenpolitik)
- Optional subjects: economics, history, law, sociology / Wahlfachgebiete: Volkswirtschaftslehre, Geschichtswissenschaft, Recht, Soziologie
